GOVERNING THE TEACHING STAFFS IN IMPLEMENTING THE NEW GENERAL EDUCATION CURRICULUM

Summary: 
It is the aim of the article to present several fundamental theoretical issues about governance and school governance, and outline the new general education curriculum. On the basis of theoretical research, the author has pointed out the difficulties for teachers in implementing the new general education program, which all need to be taken into serious consideration by the school principals in governing their teaching staffs. Within the scope of the article, some teacher governance activities that can be carried out by the principal are recommended. Hopefully, the suggestions from the educational administrators, teachers and researchers would have positive contributions to the effective implementation of the new general education curriculum.
