DESIGNING EXPERIENTIAL ACTIVITIES FOR TEACHING THE CHAPTER OF ALKALI METAL AT HIGH SCHOOLS

Summary: 
David Kolb’s experiential learning theory is one of the best known educational theories in education. Experimental activities play an important role in the reform of the education curriculum at school, promoting positivity, increasing interest, as well as improving learning efficiency for students. Organizing experimental activities will help students to achieve educational goals such as knowledge formation, life skills training, and core competency development. An experiential learning approach based on learning by doing was developed to provide students with opportunities learning through experience, taking part in hands-on activities. This article presents the results of designing and organizing experiential teaching activities for students through teaching the chapter of alkali metal at some high schools in Ninh Binh province.
