MANAGING ENGLISH TEACHING ACTIVITY BASED ON COMPETENCE DEVELOPMENT FOR STUDENTS AT LOWER SECONDARY SCHOOLS UNDER THE NEW EDUCATIONAL CURRICULUM

Summary: 
The implementation of competency-based teaching is gradually becoming an inevitable educational trend. With English subject at lower secondary schools, teaching based on developing communicative competence is getting more and more important, and therefore its management has been an urgent issue. The article explores the features and advantages of teaching towards competency development and its impact factors, as well as the characteristics of English subject curriculum at lower secondary schools in the new educational curriculum, then analyzes some requirements on managing English teaching activity based on competence development for students at lower secondary schools under the new educational curriculum.
