CURENT STATE OF LEADERSHIP COMPETENCE IN FEMALE STAFF AT PUBLIC UPPER SECONDARY SCHOOLS IN BAC NINH PROVINCE

Summary: 
The article analyzes the current status of leadership competence in female staff at public upper secondary schools in Bac Ninh province. The survey findings of 326 managers and teachers in Bac Ninh's high schools showed that the most valued leadership pcompetencies were: develop unit leadership plan; Communication in unit management; and organize implementation of plan to manage unit leadership. Competencies with the lowest rating were: Ability to use foreign languages; Competences of educational research and management; Information technology capacity. On that basis, the author analyzes causes of this situation to serve as foundation on orienting solutions to improve leadership competence in female staff at public upper secondary schools.
