Summary:
STEM Education (STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths) does not aim to train students as mathematicians, scientists or engineers, etc., but primarily to shape and develop students' skills to work in current workplace, to meet the requirements of jobs in the new century and the development of national economy and society. The renewal of STEM education can be seen as a way to adapt to the trend of educational development, contribute to creating high quality human resources, meet our national industrialization and modernization. In general, the Vietnamese Mathematics curriculum was developed towards increasing practice, application, linkage and inter-subjects. So, there are many opportunities to teach Maths towards STEM approach.
