Experience tour is one of the educational activities that contribute to the development of students’ competencies and qualities. In recent years, many educational institutions in Can Tho city have actively approached and applied the goal of experience activities under the new general education program suitable for each educational level. However, this activity is just for sightseeing activities, having no alliances with any specific subjects. In this article, the author aims to present the issue of teaching and learning experiences at cultural heritage in teaching Vietnamese History in grade 10 of high school, in order to diversify teaching forms to contribute to improving the quality of subject teaching

Tham quan trải nghiệm là một trong những hoạt động giáo dục góp phần phát triển năng lực, phẩm chất học sinh. Thời gian qua, nhiều cơ sở giáo dục trên địa bàn thành phố Cần Thơ đã tích cực, chủ động tiếp cận và vận dụng mục tiêu của hoạt động trải nghiệm theo Chương trình Giáo dục phổ thông mới phù hợp với từng cấp học, bậc học. Tuy nhiên, hoạt động này chỉ mang tính chất tham quan ngoại khoá, chưa đi vào một môn học cụ thể nào. Bài viết trình bày vấn đề tổ chức dạy học tham quan trải nghiệm tại di sản văn hoá trong dạy học Lịch sử Việt Nam lớp 10 trường trung học phổ thông nhằm đa dạng hoá các hình thức tổ chức dạy học góp phần nâng cao chất lượng dạy học bộ môn.

Môn Khoa học tự nhiên cấp Trung học cơ sở có những nội dung về cơ thể con người và sự phát triển cơ thể con người. Do vậy, môn học nhiều cơ hội để giáo dục giới tính và tình dục toàn diện cho học sinh. Ngoài đặc điểm môn học đã có nhiều thuận lợi để giáo dục giới tính và tình dục toàn diện thì việc vận dụng các phương pháp dạy học, hình thức tổ chức dạy học trong thiết kế bài học là một khâu then chốt góp phần nâng cao hiệu quả giáo dục giới tính tình dục toàn diện cho học sinh.

The article focuses on the generalization of the history and geography curriculum at junior high school level with the characteristics, views, goals and requirements to be achieved, the content and methods of education, as well as the assessment of subject learning results. From there, the author provides some suggestions for the process of designing history lessons based on the competence-development approach, and give several examples to illustrate the design of a specific lesson. The article is a useful resource for teachers to refer to when designing lessons in general and history lessons in particular according to the orientation of developing learners’ competencies, meeting the requirements of the new general education curriculum 2018.

Problem-solving teaching is one of the positive teaching methods, which is expected to bring high efficiency, develop thinking skills, and strongly activate learners’ creative learning activities. Based on the conceptualization of problem-solving teaching methodology and the levels of problem-raising teaching, the article aims to provide teaching principles and requirements for building problematic situations in teaching reading comprehension of literary works, teaching process using problem-solving methods in reading and understanding literary works to develop literacy competency for secondary school students

The paper discusses the model of educational management to develop students’ competences in Vietnamese lower secondary schools with a three-component structure, including: planning; organizing and leading; examining and supervising the implementation of educational management plans. These elements are considered in the main aspect which is educational management process to realize the target of developing students’ competences according to the orientation of the new general education curriculum.

It’s an urgent requirement to chang the elements in teaching to develop comprehensively students’ competencies and virtues with the task of meeting the orientation of General education curriculum 2018. In the teaching process in general and Biology teaching in particular, questions play an important role. The questions are both a method and a means to help teachers and students achieve the goals of the teaching process. By studying the theoretical basis, the authors have proposed principles and processes for designing a system of questions to develop biological competency in teaching on the topic of Water Exchange in the 11th Biology textbooks in high schools. The experimental results show that the application of designed questions actually contributes to the development of biological competency for students.

Dạy học trải nghiệm đã được nhà khoa học David Kolb nghiên cứu về lí luận và thực tiễn đạt nhiều hiệu quả trong giáo dục. Trong đó, các hoạt động trải nghiệm có vai trò quan trọng trong phát huy tính tích cực, tăng hứng thú và nâng cao hiệu quả học tập cho học sinh. Việc tổ chức các hoạt động trải nghiệm sẽ giúp cho học sinh đạt được các mục tiêu của giáo dục ở trường phổ thông là hình thành kiến thức khoa học, kĩ năng sống và phát triển năng lực cốt lõi. Học tập trải nghiệm tiếp cận theo nguyên tắc học đi đôi với hành, học sinh sẽ được học thông qua các hoạt động trải nghiệm để hình thành kiến thức mới. Finding methods to develop students’ competencies in teaching Physics is one of the indispensable requirements of educational innovation nowadays. The article presents the research results on applying David A. Kolb’s Experiential Learning Theory in teaching Physics to improve the experimental competencies for students. The authors examined the theory, provide the application process and the pedagogical experiment in the lesson of “Magnetic force and Magnetic Induction”. The results show that applying the experimental theory in teaching Physics will enable students to develop their experimental competencies. The implementation process we offered above can be similarly applied to other lessons within the Physics subject.

Bài báo trình bày thực trạng việc dạy học Hình học ở trường trung học phổ thông theo hướng phát triển năng lực mô hình hóa Toán học cho học sinh hiện nay của giáo viên trung học phổ thông các tỉnh Miền Đông Nam bộ và Tây Nguyên. Qua khảo sát và nghiên cứu, kết quả đã phản ánh được thực trạng việc dạy Hình học theo hướng này chưa được chú trọng nhiều. Vì vậy, cần có những biện pháp giúp giáo viên và học sinh rèn luyện và phát triển năng lực mô hình hóa Toán học trong trường trung học phổ thông

Applying the theory of competency-based teaching, by the method of analyzing and synthesizing, this paper clarified readingoriented activity as a core of teaching reading comprehension based on competency-oriented approach to develop highschool students’ competency. Accordingly, the reading-oriented activities are presented at two levels: the curriculum on grade level and specific lessons. At each level, the paper highlighted the specific activities that teachers need to perform in order for the activities to contribute to the effectiveness of teaching reading comprehension in high schools.

Teaching learning topics is a completely new content for students who have an orientation on social sciences and humanities in the careeroriented education phase of the new general education curriculum in Literature (2018). Therefore, both teachers and students have been feeling confused and difficult to acquire these contents, especially the new topics with high practical application. This article proposes a specialized teaching procedure of “Learning languages in modern social life”, which is one of three topics in the literature curriculum of 11th grade to provide teaching orientation for teachers in the process of developing this thematic teaching plan in particular, as well as defining the procedure of teaching learning topics in the literature curriculum at high schools in general.

In order to implement successfully the general education curriculum 2018, there should be a synchronous renovation of the curriculum, its content and teaching methods, as well as the conditions to ensure the implementation of the curriculum, including the use of educational equipment to meet the requirements of teaching by new curriculums. On the basis of analyzing some limitations of the management and uses of educational equipment in general schools, the paper proposes a number of solutions to organize the management and the effective use of educational equipment to successfully implement the new general education curriculum based on competence-oriented approach.

“Value” is the basic foundation of personality and acts as a “guideline” for all actions of individuals and society. Globalization, international integration, along with the development of the Industrial Revolution and the emergence of many new social elements continue to impact and create a shift in social values; in which, the core is cultural and ethical values. To orient positive values for the young generation, the key is first to identify the core cultural values that need to be educated for students in schools, then it requires to build appropriate educational content and methods. This article will focus on analyzing and giving some basic arguments to determine the core cultural values that need to be formed in students in the new context.
