PRACTISING SPEAKING SKILL FOR STUDENTS IN VIETNAMESE LANGUAGE AT HIGH SCHOOLS

Summary: 
Speaking skill is an important part to recognize persons’ ability to master a language. The general curriculum shows a certain interest in developing comprehensive verbal skills for learners, including speaking skill. Three factors have impact on learning and practising speaking skill of high school students were learning motivation, attitudes and strategies. From the study of nature and components of speaking skill, the paper proposes a process to develop speaking skill in teaching Vietnamese language so as to develop speaking competence for high school students.
