DESIGNING EXPERIENTIAL ACTIVITIES IN TEACHING BIOLOGY AT HIGH SCHOOLS

Summary: 
Experiential learning requires students to actively acquire knowledge and develop skills and competences. To facilitate the organization of experiences, teachers should design experiential activities and guide students to learn. The article presents process to design experiential activities in teaching and give an illustrative example of designing an experiential activity in teaching topic ‘Chemical components of Cells - Cell Biology’ - Biology grade 10 at high schools.
