After reviewing theoretical issues on teaching and management of the Basic professional subjects at the Intermediate People’s Police Schools based on competence-oriented approach, through a survey questionnaire on 98 managers and teachers, the author has summarized the current status, creating a scientific and practical basis to propose six measures to contribute to improving the effectiveness in these activities. The Basic professional subjects at Intermediate People’s Police Schools in the direction of capacity development, include: to organize activities to raise awareness and responsibility for managers, teachers and students about teaching basic professional subjects oriented by competence-based approach; to develop the curriculum for teaching basic professional courses with the competence-based orientation; to direct the innovation of teaching methods and forms; to guide the use of modern technical means in teaching the Basic professional subjects at the Intermediate People’s Police Schools; to focus on building a pedagogical environment and ensuring the conditions of teaching and learning; to regularly check and evaluate the teaching and learning activities with the competence - based orientation.

Digital transformation is a new concept appearing in the explosive development of the Internet and digital technology, which describes the application of digital technology in all aspects of an organization, a community, and an enterprise system. In the trend of digital transformation, the ideas of smart education, smart university, smart classroom, smart learning environment have attracted great attention from educators as well as universities in the world in order to develop a modern model of higher education in the new era. The article introduces a set of tools to assess the level of development of a higher education institution toward the smart university model, and demonstrates this development based on the results of the digital transformation in management and training process at Hanoi University of Science and Technology.

The contents of local education have been applied and implemented since the academic year 2020 - 2021 in accordance with the new General Education Curriculum in which the schools and teachers are primarily responsible for the local education for students. However, the reality shows that in order to support the schools to deliver the contents of local education, there must be a model for schools and teachers to apply into implementing the contents of local education for students properly and effectively. This article aims to present orientations for building a model of conducting this mission, including aims, methods, forms and procedures in details responding to the requirements of the new General Education Curriculum 2018.

The economy and human resource development have been greatly influenced by the fourth industrial revolution. A series of new technologies has been developed based on network platform and digital technology, which require the faster transformation of information technology businesses. This study examines the human resource demands of enterprises and assesses the ability of university graduates to grasp career opportunities in these companies. The survey was conducted on a total of 986 enterprises by using questionnaires and 20 focus groups. According to the findings, the information technology companies are short on human resources in the 25-35 age group, leadership and direct production personnel, and workers with analytical and problem-solving skills. Besides, there is a shortage of university-educated personnel available to carry out implementation research. This result can support students and employees in better understanding career opportunities and meeting job requirements. The findings also provide further information on the job responsiveness of university-educated human resources, helping researchers and human resource trainers in determining the emphasis of future efforts.

In the context of globalization and international integration, quality culture becomes increasingly important for the development of higher education. Developing a quality cultural environment in higher education institutions has been studied in Europe, the United States, and other Asian countries with advanced higher education. In Vietnam, this issue is also a concern of the higher education system. The purpose of the article is to explore the reality of developing a quality cultural environment in higher education institutions with the mission of developing and training educational administrators in Vietnam. A quantitative method was used to collect information by questionnaires on 1.047 administrators, teachers, staff members, and students. The findings showed their awareness of the importance of building a quality cultural environment as well as their roles and responsibilities. However, its expression level is only above average.

Tại Diễn đàn Kinh tế Thế giới năm 2015, Klaus Schwab cho rằng: Cuộc Cách mạng công nghiệp 4.0 đang diễn ra, trong đó các công nghệ và các xu hướng đột phá như interrnet kết nối vạn vật, người máy, thực tế ảo và trí tuệ nhân tạo đang làm thay đổi cách sống và cách làm việc của chúng ta theo những cách mà chúng ta chưa từng nghĩ đến. Tại diễn đàn này, các học giả đã xác định được 16 kĩ năng mà người học cần có để có thể sống và lao động trong thế kỉ XXI, trong đó có thể kể đến các kĩ năng quan trọng như: ngôn ngữ, tính toán, khoa học, tài chính, ICT, ... Trong Chương trình Giáo dục phổ thông mới của Việt Nam, năng lực tính toán được xác định là năng lực chung cần hình thành cho học sinh. Trước đây, năng lực tính toán thường được hiểu là khả năng thực hiện bốn phép tính số học. Tuy nhiên, hiện nay, năng lực tính toán được xác định đó là khả năng và sự sẵn sàng sử dụng các kiến thức toán học vào các tình huống đa dạng của cuộc sống. Do vậy, trên cơ sở phân tích tài liệu của các tác giả trong và ngoài nước về năng lực tính toán, bài viết xác định các biểu hiện của năng lực tính toán trong học tập Hình học và đề xuất một số biện pháp để phát triển năng lực tính toán cho học sinh trong học tập Hình học ở trường trung học cơ sở.

The mathematical aids and tools competency is one of the five elements of mathematical competence in Vietnam’s Mathematics Education Curriculum 2018. The paper focuses on investigating the characteristics of the content of the 6th grade geometry and proposes some basic measures to foster the mathematical aids and tools competency for students through teaching this content.

Năng lực sử dụng công cụ, phương tiện học Toán là một trong năm thành phần của năng lực Toán học trong Chương trình Giáo dục phổ thông môn Toán 2018. Bài viết tập trung tìm hiểu đặc điểm của nội dung Hình học lớp 6 và đề xuất một số biện pháp cơ bản nhằm bồi dưỡng năng lực sử dụng công cụ, phương tiện học Toán cho học sinh thông qua dạy học nội dung này.

Developing the ability to adapt to life for primary school students in organizing experiential activities is one of the most important goals in the comprehensive development of students’ competencies and qualities. Through their own experiences, each student is both a participant and a designer and an organizer of activities for themselves, thereby discovering, adjusting themselves, and adjusting the way they organize these activities and organize their lives to live and work in a planned and responsible manner. Phát triển năng lực thích ứng với cuộc sống cho học sinh tiểu học trong tổ chức hoạt động trải nghiệm là một trong những mục tiêu quan trọng hàng đầu trong việc phát triển toàn diện năng lực và phẩm chất học sinh. Bằng hoạt động trải nghiệm của bản thân, mỗi học sinh vừa là người tham gia, vừa là người thiết kế và tổ chức các hoạt động cho chính mình, qua đó tự khám phá, điều chỉnh bản thân, điều chỉnh cách tổ chức hoạt động, tổ chức cuộc sống để sinh hoạt và làm việc có kế hoạch, có trách nhiệm. Bài viết phân tích thực trạng phát triển năng lực thích ứng với cuộc sống cho học sinh trong tổ chức hoạt động trải nghiệm theo chủ đề ở Trường Tiểu học Lômônôxốp, quận Nam Từ Liêm, Hà Nội, từ đó đưa ra được các biện pháp phát triển năng lực thích ứng với cuộc sống cho học sinh trong tổ chức hoạt động trải nghiệm theo chủ đề một cách phù hợp và hiệu quả nhất.

The article investigates the factors affecting the happiness of primary school teachers today to provide scientific results, helping the Ministry of Education and Training to make initial judgments about the effectiveness of the implementation of the 2018 general education program, thereby drawing lessons from experience and promptly adjusting the program to be more suitable for teachers and learners. The results obtained are as follows: 1/ Teachers are still under a lot of pressure from many sides; 2/ There is still a large percentage of teachers who do not really attach importance to the teaching profession; 3/ State policies have not helped teachers feel secure in professional activities; 4/ Teachers’ capacity needs to be improved; 5/ It is necessary to strengthen the connection between teachers, leaders, and colleagues.

Bài viết thông qua điều tra thực trạng các yếu tố ảnh hưởng đến cảm nhận hạnh phúc của giáo viên trung học cơ sở hiện nay để đưa ra những kết quả mang tính khoa học, giúp Bộ Giáo dục và Đào tạo có những nhận định ban đầu về hiệu quả của việc triển khai Chương trình Giáo dục phổ thông 2018, từ đó rút ra những bài học kinh nghiệm và kịp thời điều chỉnh chương trình sao cho phù hợp hơn với người dạy và người học. Các kết quả thu được như sau: 1/ Giáo viên hiện nay đang vẫn chịu rất nhiều các áp lực từ nhiều phía; 2/ Vẫn còn tỉ lệ lớn giáo viên chưa thực sự coi trọng nghề giáo; 3/ Chính sách của nhà nước chưa giúp giáo viên cảm thấy yên tâm trong hoạt động nghề; 4/ Năng lực giáo viên cần nâng cao và hoàn thiện hơn; 5/ Cần tăng cường sự kết nối giữa giáo viên với lãnh đạo và đồng nghiệp.

Professional development is a mandatory requirement for most professions in society, especially in the field of education. Regular training activities for school teachers and educational administrators in recent years have made valuable contributions to improving their professional capacity and meeting new changing requirements of general education. Theoretical research and surveys carried out to reveal any forms of training used for school teachers and educational administrators will depend on their conditions such as facilities, key resources, automatic learning skills of teachers and management of general education institutions, information technology background, learning support resources at high schools and local schools. This paper analysed of the blended model (blended course) which has many priorities for face-to-face and online refresher courses. The blended model is a form that is interwoven between the trainees (who are school teachers and educational administrators) with their online self-study in the stage of their direct, multi-dimensional interaction with the trainers (lecturers, experts etc.).

Trong xu hướng dạy và học tích cực ngày nay, giáo viên đóng vai trò là người dẫn dắt, định hướng, tổ chức để học sinh chủ động tích cực tham gia vào quá trình chiếm lĩnh tri thức. Để thực hiện tốt vai trò tổ chức của mình, giáo viên phải thường xuyên thiết kế những tình huống dạy học để dẫn dắt học sinh huy động kiến thức có sẵn, biến đổi đối tượng cần nghiên cứu sang đối tượng mới để có thể sử dụng vốn tri thức đã có giải quyết vấn đề nghiên cứu một cách hiệu quả. Thực chất chính là việc học sinh thực hiện liên tiếp các hoạt động nhận thức gắn liền với quá trình thích nghi trong việc hình thành sơ đồ nhận thức mới. Bài báo nghiên cứu những biểu hiện của thích nghi trí tuệ qua cách tiếp cận các tình huống dạy học tích cực trong dạy học Toán.

The world is witnessing rapid changes. The era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution - 4.0 Industry requires better preparation of the necessary competencies for students. Foreign language teaching in general and English language teaching in particular; therefore, should equip students with the skills and experiences that go beyond learning an additional language. It is the aim of this article to give a brief introduction about life competencies (Creative thinking, Critical thinking, Communication, Collaboration, Learning to learn, Social responsibilities) and at the same time give some guidelines on the introduction of those competencies into English language classes so that teachers would find it easier to deal with this challenging area.

The preschool education program as well as other legal documents has stipulated the importance of environmental protection education for preschool children, which aiming at helping children acquire knowledge, skills, and age-appropriate environmental protection behaviors. Experiential learning is an important theory of learning that emphasizes the central role of experience in the learning process. For hildren in preschool age, learning by experience is one of the dominant educational methods in helping children experience and learn from the world around them. By reviewing relevant studies, this article has focused on how to apply David A.Kold‘s experiential learning model in educating environmental protection behavior for preschool children. The four steps in the experiential learning process have been analyzed with detailed instructions for its application. The authors has also proposed principles when applying the model, including paying attention to flexibility and ensuring that children experience, learn by trial and error under the organization and guidance of preschool teachers so that they can construct their own understanding and behavior. The results of this study contribute to flexibly applying the experiential learning model to educate other contents for preschool children.
