DESIGNING EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES IN TEACHING BIOLOGY GRADE 10 AT UPPER SECONDARY SCHOO

Biology is an experimental science, linked to the realities of life. However, the main curriculum at the school is limited by time. Students usually learn theory only, teachers also have little opportunity to expand their knowledge and develop competencies for their students... With their roles and advantages, extracurricular activities will help overcome these limitations. Students have opportunities to expand their knowledge, experience and play... Based on the principles and process of developing extracurricular activities, we have proposed some extracurricular activities associated with each specific content of the Biology curriculum Grade 10. These suggestions can be used as references for teachers in designing extracurricular activities associated with teaching Biology Grade 10. To organize effective extracurricular activities, it is necessary to make detailed plans, prepare carefully, ensure the harmony between playing and expansion activities while consolidating the subject knowledge.
