INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE IN ORGANIZING PEDAGOGICAL INTERNSHIP FOR STUDENTS AT PRACTICING SCHOOLS

Summary: 
How to achieve the goal of training qualified teachers to become effective class managers? This question has been the concern of scientists, educators in the world for many years. In schools, teacher-students are engaged in career-related work in the future: observation, pedagogical practice, and apprenticeship. Teacher training programs must be designed in the direction of improving knowledge, skills and qualifications for teacher-students, helping them prepare well for effective teaching at the school. Therefore, it can be said that the teacher training programs at universities/colleges need to be combined with the practical experience at the school as a essential part of the training. Pedagogical internship is a process providing teacher-students with real-world experiences and full understanding of the teacher's role. This article introduces the experience of pedagogical internship organized for teacher-students at practicing high schools of Ottawa University, Canada.
