SOLUTIONS FOR DEVELOPING PROFESSORS AND ASSOCIATE PROFESSORS IN VIETNAM

The development of professors and associate professors plays an important role in the development of education, training and scientific research in Vietnam. The article analyses and evaluates advantages, disadvantages and view points on the development of professors and associate professors nowadays, hence proposing solutions for developing professors and associate professors, meeting current requirements in Vietnam. According to the author, Vienam now is in the process of increasingly international integration in terms of economics, science-technology, cooperative expansion, approaching international technological advances. Professors and associate professors are intellectual force which play decisive role in leading the development of education and scientific research in Vietnam in the new period. Therefore, it is necessary to pay attention to and issue appropriate policies for professors and associate professors.
