Summary:
Teaching competence is a component of teacher’s pedagogical competences. The development of teaching competence for students of Mathematical pedagogy must be conducted through activities in pedagogical universities/ colleges: Teaching basic Maths and profession subjects; regular activities for pedagogical profession training; intensive pedagogical internship activities; other activities such as topic-based clubs and pedgogical profession competition. Thus, Maths teaching competences acquired by teachers would contribute to forming and developing such students’ competencies as; thinking competence with basic actions; problem solving competence; Maths modeling competence; Communicative competence; Competence in using mathematical tools and means; Competence in independent learning with appropriate methods.
