OVERVIEW OF RESEARCH ON DEVELOPING SOCIAL - EMOTIONAL COMPETENCIES FOR MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS

Summary: 
Developing social-emotional competencies is regarded as an inseparable part of a student's comprehensive education. Previous studies have shown that students with good social-emotional competencies will have better health, happier lives, perform better at school, etc. The article uses a document research method to review research on the development of socialemotional competencies for middle school students, thereby contributing to additional theories on social-emotional competencies and developing them for secondary school students. The research findings are expected to contribute to orienting the application of developing social-emotional competencies and developing them for people in general and middle school students in particular.
