Developing curriculum, compiling textbooks towards competence development is a popular trend in many countries, especially in advanced countries and Vietnam as well. Textbooks towards competence development should include main features such as: pedagogy; science and modernity; practicality and sustainability; aesthetics. A good textbook can help students form and develop competencies, assist teachers organize competency-based teaching, skills and professional improvement, and orient teaching methods, reformal at high levels.

Education quality depends on many factors. However, teachers’ quality is an important factor, directly affect the educational products and education quality at each school. The article analyzes the theoretical issues of teachers’ training programs, professional competence; current shortages of teachers’ training program. Then, some guidelines for developing teachers’ training program will be provided in the context of current education reform, contribute to improving quality of teachers’ training at universities of education.

Bài viết phân tích thực trạng năng lực sử dụng các phương pháp, phương tiện giáo dục gia đình tác động tới con thông qua tổ chức các hoạt động và tương tác của gia đình. Nghiên cứu được thực hiện trên 1000 cặp cha, mẹ - con ở độ tuổi thiếu niên đang học ở 5 trường trung học cơ sở: Nguyễn Tất Thành, Nguyễn Bỉnh Khiêm, Chu Văn An, Nhật Tân, Cổ Nhuế II thuộc 3 quận nội thành: Quận Cầu Giấy, Quận Tây Hồ, Quận Bắc Từ Liêm của Thành phố Hà Nội. Kết quả nghiên cứu cho thấy năng lực này của cha mẹ còn ở mức thấp, tiệm cận với mức trung bình. Sự khác biệt về mức độ năng lực này ở các cha mẹ có độ tuổi và nghề nghiệp khác nhau cho thấy có nhiều yếu tố ảnh hưởng đến năng lực sử dụng các phương pháp, phương tiện giáo dục gia đình tác động tới con thông qua tổ chức các hoạt động và tương tác gia đình của cha mẹ.

The article analyzes the current status of the ability to use family-based methods and media to influence children through organizing family’s activities and interactions. The study was conducted on over 1,000 parents, teenage children at 5 secondary schools: Nguyen Tat Thanh, Nguyen Binh Khiem, Chu Van An, Nhat Tan, Co Nhue II, in 3 district: Cau Giay, Tay Ho, North Tu Liem of Hanoi. Research findings showed that parents’ ability is low and around average level. Difference in parents’ ability with different ages and occupations showed that there were many impact factors to this ability.

Cause of the fundamental and comprehensive reform of education and training, international integration and the context of the 4.0 industrial revolution require the renovation of course thinking, organization and administration of course head at the university of education. It. This requirement was posed as a key issue. This is also a requirement for staff training. In the context of integration, open-door exchange, it is necessary to renew thinking and management mechanism, ensure extended and effective international cooperation, promote internal strength, preserve national cultural environment and good traditional values. Therefore, course head training focused on not only knowledge of profession, management and leadership but also knowledge of politics, economics, foreign languages, informatics ... The author mentions fostering management competence for course head at the university of education to meet the requirements of educational reform. In the article, the author clarifies the current situation of course head at the university of education and proposes solutions for forstering course head, including: 1 / Determining the training needs of course head; 2 / Defining goal of training; 3 / Developing training contents; 4 / Developing training plan for course head; 5 / Renewing in-service training for course head; 6 / Renewing evaluation of training results at university of education

The article addresses an issue of social skill education through experience for pre-school children in terms of analyzing some relating theoretical issues such as: concepts, purposes, classifications, methods to teach social skills for children and analyzing world trends in this issue (by defining the theoretical foundation and pre-school programs in some countries) with the aim to withdraw lessons-learnt to Vietnam on social skill education through experience. Thereby, some ideas are proposed to improve the quality of this activity

The United Kingdom (UK) is one of countries with a developed education system in the world with its great concern for vocational education for young people, especially for high school students. The government, local authorities, schools and related social organizations are strongly involved in vocational education. In particular, local government and schools in the UK are required to provide full, independent and objective career guidance to students. The author explored the UK vocational education for high school students, then withdrew practical lessons- learnt on ways and methods to organize vocational education, and contributed to reallocating vocational education in Vietnam, took it as the initial important step in the process of structuring and improving the quality of social workforce

Lựa chọn nội dung giáo dục giá trị văn hóa dân tộc thiểu số cho học sinh dân tộc trong nhà trường là vấn đề rất có ý nghĩa, nhất là trong bối cảnh đổi mới căn bản và toàn diện giáo dục hiện nay. Bài viết phân tích sự cần thiết phải giáo dục giá trị văn hóa dân tộc; một số tiêu chí làm căn cứ lựa chọn nội dung giáo dục cho học sinh dân tộc và minh họa một vài chủ điểm về nội dung giáo dục giá trị văn hóa vật chất và văn hóa tinh thần nhằm giáo dục cho học sinh dân tộc thiểu số những giá trị gia đình, quê hương, cộng đồng,... theo đúng định hướng và mục tiêu của chương trình mới.

Selecting contents of ethnic minority culture education for ethnic students at schools is a very significant issue, especially in the context of fundamental and comprehensive education reform today. The paper analyzes the need to educate the ethnic culture values; some criteria used as a basis for selecting these contents and illustrate a few topics on these contents in order to educate ethnic minority students with values of family, hometown, community... in accordance with the orientation and goals of new curriculum

It helps students not only expand their learning ability but also gain deeper insights into a teaching strategy towards quality applications in their future jobs so as to meet the current requirements of education reform in our country

Doing research on developing scientific hypotheses for research topics played a critical role in terms of theoretical and practical aspects, added to successful research. The paper addresses concepts and characteristics of scientific hypotheses, its role in the research implementation, types of hypotheses, hypotheses development, testing mistakes when hypothesizing in educational research topics. Then, the author proposes a number of measures to improve the ability to write scientific hypothesis for subject of scientific research.

Để dạy học theo định hướng phát triển năng lực ở cấp Tiểu học nói chung và môn Toán nói riêng, đòi hỏi người giáo viên phải có năng lực sư phạm nổi trội, trong đó thiết kế kế hoạch bài học theo hướng phát triển năng lực người học là kĩ năng quan trọng góp phần vào sự thành công của dạy học theo định hướng phát triển năng lực. Qua điều tra bằng phiếu hỏi 185 giáo viên ở 12 trường tiểu học thuộc địa bàn tỉnh Thanh Hóa, bài viết phân tích thực trạng và nguyên nhân về vấn đề thiết kế kế hoạch bài học môn Toán của giáo viên Tiểu học hiện nay. Từ đó, đưa ra các biện pháp nhằm nâng cao kĩ năng thiết kế kế hoạch bài học môn Toán theo định hướng phát triển năng lực cho giáo viên tiểu học gồm: Bồi dưỡng kĩ năng phân tích chương trình, sách giáo khoa Toán Tiểu học cho giáo viên tiểu học; Bồi dưỡng cho giáo viên các kĩ thuật gắn với yêu cầu của thiết kế kế hoạch bài học theo định hướng phát triển năng lực người học; Tăng cường tổ chức các đợt tập huấn về chuyên môn, nghiệp vụ cho giáo viên Tiểu học, giúp giáo viên giải đáp những thắc mắc, tháo gỡ khó khăn trong quá trình dạy học

Competency-based teaching at primary schools and in Maths in particular requires teachers with outstanding pedagogical competence, in which lesson- plan design towards developing learners’ competence was an important skill for this successful teaching style. Through a questionnaire survey of 185 teachers in 12 elementary schools in Thanh Hoa province, the paper analyzes the current situation and causes of Maths lesson- plan design of current primary teachers. Measures to improve Maths lesson- plan design are also suggested towards primary teachers’ competence development, including: Fostering skills to analyze curriculum and text book of primary Maths; Fostering techniques to link with the requirements of a learner-centered lesson design; Strengthen the organization of professional trainings for primary teachers, help them answer questions and solve problems during teaching process.

Kết nối Toán học với thực tiễn được thực hiện chủ yếu nhờ việc triển khai các hoạt động mô hình hóa để toán học hóa các tình huống của hiện thực khách quan. Việc nghiên cứu triển khai các hoạt động toán học hóa ở trong nước và trên thế giới hiện nay chỉ mới thể hiện qua việc tổ chức cho học sinh hoạt động, thực hiện các bước mô hình hóa. Bài viết đề cập đến các nghiên cứu sư phạm về kết nối Toán học với thực tiễn trên nhiều bình diện và đưa ra những ví dụ minh họa dành cho học sinh trải nghiệm gắn kết kiến thức toán với thực tiễn. Đây là cơ sở để tìm kiếm và xây dựng quy trình lựa chọn, sử dụng tình huống thực tiễn vào dạy học Toán ở trường phổ thông nhằm phát triển năng lực cá nhân của học sinh.

To link Mathematics with practice was primarily carried out by the deployment of modeling activities in order to realize objective situations into Maths. The study of implementing Maths activities in Vietnam and in the world today is only shown through the organization of students’ activities, implementing modeling steps. The paper deals with pedagogical studies of Maths link with reality through multiple perspectives and provides illustrative examples for students to experience the integration of Maths knowledge with practice. This is the basis for finding and developing a selective process using real-life situations in teaching Maths at general schools so as to develop students' individual capabilities
