Summary: 
The boom of online videos on the Internet has gained in their popularity in classes. At the School of Foreign Languages, Hanoi University of Science and Technology, videos have been used widely in CLILoriented English for science and technology classes over the last few years. This paper investigates the reasons for this trend and how videos are exploited for educational purposes for these classes here. The article is expected to provide useful, highly applicable information to lecturers when using videos for CLIL-oriented classes in general and CLIL-oriented English for Science and Technology classes in particular.
