THE IMPACT OF E-LEARNING MATERIALS ON SELF-LEARNING AND SELF-FOSTERING FOR THE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OF PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHERS

Summary: 
The article presents some basic issues related to E-learning materials, its exploiting and using in self-learning and self-fostering for professional development of primary school teachers. The article also examines some research results in assessing the impact of E-learning materials on self-learning for the professional development of primary school teachers by getting feedback from 250 primary teachers in Hanoi, Nam Dinh, Thai Binh, Da Nang, and Ho Chi Minh City after using some of our designed modules from 2015 to present. On that basis, the authors propose a number of recommendations to promote the application of E-learning in teacher training and fostering, contributing to the improvement of teachers’ competencies in the fundamental and comprehensive innovation in education.
