Summary:
The remarkable development of science, technology and economy has impacted on the noble life of the monastic students in the Meditation area. Therefore, studying the contents, organizational forms and methods of Buddhist moral education for them will help introduce a proper orientation and adaptation to the development of science, engineering, technology and economy but still retain the ideal of monastics. This paper presented an overview of some theoretical issues about the contents and forms of Buddhist moral education. Additionally, organizing Buddhist moral education activities for monastic students through the form of tea-meditation was also mentioned on. The results of teaching Buddist moral for 60 monastic students at Vietnam Buddhist University in Hue through the form of tea-meditation were also taken into account based on quantitative and qualitative methods from questionnaries as well as interviewing.The results suggested that monastic students had full awareness and positive attitudes about Buddhist moral values in life, and more regularly participated in practising Buddhist moral activities.
