Summary: 
Japan, South Korea and Singapore have made great progress in building a learning society. Their approaches and lessons learned from these countries are of great significance to Vietnam. Studying and investigating on current achievements regarding lifelong learning of these countries enable policy-makers and Vietnamese researchers to compare and contrast with the situation of Vietnam in order to draw appropriate lessons
