CURRENT STATUS OF BUILDING THE LEARNER-FRIENDLY MATERIAL ENVIRONMENT FOR SECONDARY SCHOOL PUPILS IN DISTRICT 12 OF HO CHI MINH CITY

Summary: 
A friendly learning environment for pupils in secondary school is increasingly concerned by administrators, the educational community and society. The friendly and modern material environment in the school creates favorable conditions and motivation for pupils when going to class, which forms and develops student’s personality through a number of values of material culture, helping them to be aware of preserving the environment, facilities and equipment for teaching and learning. Therefore, the friendly material environment is of great importance in creating a friendly learning environment for pupils. The paper presents the current status of building the learner-friendly material environment for pupils in public secondary schools in District 12, Ho Chi Minh City from the opinions of managers and teachers, pupils as well as their parents. Through analyzing the reality of building the friendly material environment, the article uses the One-Way ANOVA method to investigate the difference of assessment opinions on the content of the survey among three groups, including manager, teacher; pupils and their parents.
