Summary:
This study explores the critical role of school leadership in fostering supportive work environments. Evidence shows that a positive school climate enhances teachers’ intrinsic motivation, mitigates stress, and strengthens long-term professional commitment. The paper outlines four strategic solutions: developing transformational and empathetic leadership capacities; implementing two-way feedback and transparent communication; enhancing recognition, reward, and professional development systems; and reducing administrative burdens to promote work - life balance. Collectively, these solutions aim to build a human centered, collaborative school culture, lower teacher resignation, and improve educational quality and student outcomes.
