APPROACH TO ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT THEORY IN SCHOOL IMPROVEMENT

Summary: 
Theory on organization development is a research area for enhancing institutional capacity and efficiency via the modification and development of strategies, patternings (structures), procedures and other related factors within an institution, which is aimed at bringing about needed adaptations, changes, and sustainable development in evolving situations. This theory is assumed to be applicable to different types of institutions, including educations institutions. On the basis of reviewing the essentials of organizational development theories, emphasis in this article is given to making explicit the rationale for the application of this theory towards promoting as efficiently as possible school development in current Vietnam.
