Summary:
The achievements of the Fourth Industrial Revolution have brought advanced technology which has improved the quality and effectiveness of education. In addition, the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic has further created momentum that accelerated the digital transformation in education. In this context, adaptive education with the advantages of personalized and flexible learning is strongly promoted as the current trend of education. This study, on the basis of reviewing existing research on adaptive education, theoretical grounds and practical implementation of adaptive education in a number of countries including Vietnam, has proposed an adaptive educational model to be implemented initially in general education in Vietnam.
