Summary: 
With the great development of information technology in the last decade, blended learning has developed strongly in many countries around the world, not only at university but also at general education level. In Vietnam, blended learning (and online teaching) in schools emerged by the COVID-19 pandemic’s affect. Currently, Vietnam has moved to the new normal stage and schools have reopened. With the advantages of online teaching, Vietnamese schools can apply a combined teaching model to enhance the effectiveness and quality of education, providing opportunities to access education for students. This report analyzes the current status of blended learning and points out the advantages and disadvantages in awareness, implementation and requirements of blended learning, based on the answers of 10165 teachers and 946 secondary school administrators from 8 provinces/ cities; thereby giving some recommendations to promote effective implementation of blended learning in Vietnam secondary schools.
