Summary:
In the context that Vietnam is starting to implement the 2018 General Education Program, including History subject, by the method of document research, comparison and observation, the article outlines the process and analyzes some characteristics of the history curriculum reform in China since the 90s of the twentieth century to the present. From the similarities in the goals and nature of education between Vietnam and China, the studies on these processes and characteristics will contribute to the innovation of the History curriculum and textbooks in Vietnam.
