Summary: 
On the basis of research on teaching Mathematics in primary schools and materials on learning through play, the article clarifies the concept of “learning through play” as an approach in teaching. From there, the author proposes a method to apply “learning through play” to teaching Mathematics in primary schools, contributing to the development of students’ qualities and competences.
