SOME ISSUES IN TEACHING VIETNAMESE FOR GRADE 2 UNDER THE 2018 GENERAL EDUCATION PROGRAM

Summary: 
The General Education Program 2018 has been implemented through teaching new textbooks for more than 2 years. According to the requirements of the program, teachers must help students develop their qualities and competencies through educational content with basic, practical, and modern knowledge and skills, aiming at harmonizing knowledge, ethics, physics and beauty; focusing on practice, applying knowledge and skills learned to solve problems in learning and in real life; and applying educational methods and forms to promote the initiative and potential of each student. Assessment methods must be consistent with educational goals and educational methods to achieve program goals. Researching the implementation of teaching new textbooks, including Vietnamese for grade 2 at primary schools, is necessary to analyze, identify and explain the advantages and disadvantages in the teaching process; thereby proposing effective solutions timely, helping to improve the effectiveness of teaching with the new curriculum and textbooks.
