SOLUTIONS OF PEDAGOGICAL TRAINING MANAGEMENT FOR GIFTED HIGH SCHOOLS TEACHERS IN THE RED RIVER DELTA REGION BASED ON A COMPETENCY APPROACH

Summary: 
Pedagogical training for teachers is not a new issue, but it is always a concern of every education system because the quality of teachers is a prerequisite for the success of educational reform. In Vietnam, the model of gifted high schools is a specific model in the national education system. Teachers at the gifted high schools, in addition to the general requirements of competence like other teachers, must also meet specific professional requirements of this educational environment. This article presents some research results on the current situation of pedagogical training management for teachers at gifted high schools in the Red River Delta of Vietnam and proposes four groups of solutions according to the CIPO model, including: 1/ Group of solutions to manage input factors; 2/ Group of solutions to manage process factors; 3/ Group of solutions to manage output factors; and 4/ Group of adaptive solutions in contextual factors in order to overcome the limitations and improve the effectiveness of management activities in pedagogical training for the gifted high school teachers in the researched area.
