Summary:
This paper aims at studying Dynamic Geometry Software (DGS) on providing some practical applications in primary education. Specifically, the authors focus on establishing a formula for finding the area of triangles at different levels from basic to advance in order to help primary students develop geometric and visual thinking by using GeoGebra software. It is expected that these results and the methodological approach used in this study will be of interest to students and teachers in Primary Education.
