This article presents the outcomes of a survey on the status of teaching aids and their use in Grade 2 in nine provinces. Basically, the teaching aids meet the educational requirements, but their delivery is not timely; the quality is rated as above average; teachers use various teaching methods but concentrated in subjects that involve many teaching aids; time for training on the teaching aids is limited; and school administrators did not require much training from the suppliers.
