THE INTEGRATION OF GLOBAL PERSPECIVES INTO SUBJECTS OF THE GLOBAL EDUCATIONAL CURRICULUM IN AUSTRALIAN SCHOOLS

Summary: 
Education on global issues from general schools is gaining countries’ wide attention because it is an approach that empowers learners to become active citizens both locally and globally towards a better, safer, more understanding and more inclusive world. The following article is the author’s overview of global content and topics and the ways to integrate those content in school subjects from a framework for global educational perspectives in Australian schools. The result is hoped to be a useful reference for schools and teachers as well as educational researchers who are interested in the integration of global issues into school subjects and educational activities in Vietnam.
