Summary:
Vietnam is on the way torenew curriculum and textbook towards students’competence development, in whichthe change in teaching methods is crucial. Discovery teaching is a suitable methods to Science subject, to target specific and general competence development. So the teaching innovation should be paid more attention to students’competence development in Vietnam in the coming time. This article presentsand analyze discovery teaching method in Science subject in Singapore, then withdraws some lessons-learnt in science teaching through discovery
