MOTIVATION POLICIES FOR SCHOOL TEACHERS - SOME THEORETICAL ISSUES

The work motivation of employees in general and of school teachers in particular has a great impact on the quality and efficiency of their work. Therefore, those policies that motivate employees are needed to be taken into account by managers. The article discusses some theoretical issues related to teachers’ work motivation, including such aspects as: theories of work motivation, measures to motivate teachers, and factors influencing the teacher motivation policies. Finally, the author notes that in order to get the policies applied efficiently, the managers need to pay due attention to all aspects when promulgating and implementing policies.
