Summary: 
The application of E-learning to teaching will bring many benefits and high efficiency in the context of educational and training innovation as today. Applying E-learning to teaching at educational institutions in general and Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages - Information Technology in particular is a great opportunity for innovation in training methods. Although the application of E-learning to teaching needs to meet many factors, such as training programs, teachers and learners, and educational facilities, the university is facing many difficult challenges. Therefore, the article focuses on understanding the advantages and disadvantages of applying E-learning to teaching in the university, thereby proposing solutions to apply E-learning to teaching effectively.
