THE SITUATION OF STUDENT AFFAIRS AT UNIVERSITY OF FOREIGN LANGUAGES AND INTERNATIONAL STUDIES, HUE UNIVERSITY

The purpose of the study is to investigate the current status of the student affairs of University at Foreign Languages and International Studies, Hue University, thereby determining the limitations and identifying the causes, proposing some measures to meet the requirements of students. The research data is collected from a survey of 57 managers, lecturers, specialists working in functional departments and faculties, and 401 students at 07 faculties including English, Chinese, French - Russian, Vietnamese studies, Japanese Language and Culture, Korean Language and Culture, International Studies, and then processed by statistical software SPSS 22.0. The research results show that some administrators, lecturers, specialists and students are not fully aware of the importance of each specific content of student affairs. In addition to the results achieved, there are still limitations and inadequacies in the contents of student affairs that need to be overcome.
