LITERATURE TEACHING TOWARDS THE REQUIREMENT OF COMPETENCY DEVELOPMENT

The article focuses on clarifying and unifying the understanding of teaching methods, then differing features between content-based teaching and towards competency development. Also in the article, the author analyzes the understanding of teaching methods, the difference between content-based teaching and towards competency development. The author thought that teaching methods were the ways teachers work in teaching; determined the model of the teacher's activity to help the student master the subject and achieve the goal of the lessons. In Literature teaching towards contents, teachers mainly explained the beauty of texts, poems, read for students to write down their own feelings and thoughts about that texts. Competency-developed teaching requires teachers to organize activities during school hours for students to work, discuss, and debate, thereby drawing conclusions about their knowledge and content.
