Developing school programs has currently become a central task at high school. In which, designing subject curriculum plays a basic and vital role. Its is also a new and difficult task. To bring into full play this mission, role of professional group should be emphasized at high schools. The authorclarified role of professional group in developing school programs towards students’ competence, that includes: 1/ Viewpoints of school programs; 2/ Role of professional group in developing school programs: design outcomes standard; develop its contents; devide curriculum, improve design competence, implement and assess subject curriculum for teachers.

Basing on the study of international textbooks and Maths primary textbooks (from South Korea, the US, Singapore) to meet the requirements of pupils’competence development, research the elementary mathematics textbooks of Korea, the US, Singapore, we have identified requirements of Mathematics text book towards developing pupils’ competence. This article proposed structure of Maths primary textbook, including the introduction, learners’guide, chapters, lessons types, keys and basic learning equipments. At the same time, ideas of linking Maths primary textbooks with other information sources, materials, including electronic textbook were also provided

The developments of market economy and globalization enhancement have brought many opportunities and challenges. Higher education aims at creating new human beings with sufficient competency and qualities to meet increasing social demands, especially education on industrial culture values in order to raise labor productivity, integration improvement and economic development. The article shows the typical features of industrial culture in developed countries in terms of science and technology, maximizing human potential competence through lifestyle, treatment and behavior. Then, the author proposes measures to educate value of industrial culture in training the economic human resources in Vietnam in order to form new fully developed human beings, be ready to integrate into an global integrated environment.

Homeschool - kid instruction at home- is a developed trend/model in advanced countries. This movement started in 1970s when John Holt – an education theorist- educational renewal supporter- argued that the focus on school education creates a child-enforcing environment. In spite of different names, its forms were that parents do not send their children to formal schools, their children learn at home. Parents will rely on their kids’ abilities, strengths and interests to design right curriculum to their individual child. This article addresses home schooling in three Asian countries: Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore with their advantages and disadvantages in homeschool, which contributes to enriching the overall picture of this educational method around the world.

Teaching foreign languages towards the credit system has improved the quality of learning foreign languages, fundamentally changed the model of training this subject from subject’s perception and teaching object to teaching methods, curricula, subject outline, conditions to ensure the teaching process ... and also set out difficulties and inadequacies that need to be addressed to meet the requirements of renewing and improving the quality of education and training of the People’s Police Academy. Teaching - learning foreign languages towards the credit system still needs to improve although it has overcome difficulties due to characteristics of the army training units, radical changes in the quality of foreign languages will contribute to the People's Police Academy becoming a priority academy in Public Security sector, moving to become a priority academy at national level.

To continue the previous article, which refers to theoretical and practical issues of in the mother tonguebased-bilingual practice Research as a basis for students develop their thinking, so they can learn a different language (national language) and scientific knowledge. Applying that theory, the pilot results have been completed (stage 2008 - 2015) with many successes and lessons-learnt which need to develop and adjust. Therefore, this article (period 2), focused on clarifying the related contents: 1 / Scale of pilot implementation of mother tongue-based-bilingual education; 2 / These pilot results at kindergartens and primary schools; 3 / Lessons learned and recommendations to further confirm these results of its practice for the sustainable development of mother tongue-based bilingual education on a broader scale and higher education level

To achieve the goal of general education, the development of curriculum and teaching organization should be in line with certain viewpoints. The current general curriculum of Biology and the Natural Science at Lower Secondary education in the new general curriculum (the overall curriculum) was developed on the basis of integrating many different viewpoints, including spiral one. Referring to this issue, the paper presents: Overview of spiral development viewpoint; set up and develop the subject curriculum from spiral development viewpoint; Analysis of contents of the current Biology curriculum towards expressing spiral development viewpoint, then giving some suggestions in the development and teaching organization in Natural science at lower secondary education in the new general curriculum towards spiral development viewpoint

Competence of problem solving and creativity is one of the key competencies of high school students. We can use different teaching methods and techniques in teaching in general and in teaching Chemistry in particular to develop competence of students’ problem solving and creativity. In this article, the author discusses about using problemsolving teaching method to develop this competence through chemistry exercise and situations, Grade 10, Capacity for problem solving and creativity is one of the key core competencies of high school students. It is possible to use a number of different teaching methods and techniques in teaching in general and teaching Chemistry in particular to help develop problem solving and creativity skills for students. In this article, the author discusses the use of problem-solving teaching methods to develop problem-solving and creative competencies for students through chemistry and chemistry situations in grade 10 and Oxygen – Sulfur chapter. Then, the author initially carried out pedagogical experiment to evaluate the feasibility and effectiveness of developing problem-solving and creative competence.

It is really necessary to teach students several metacognitive skills. These skills will foster their ability to identify and solve problem. In this article, the author focuses on researching and identifying pedagogical solutions to practise metacognitive skills so as to foster ability to identify and solve problem, as well as clarify the advantages of practising these skills to foster students’ ability to identify and solve problems in teaching solid Geometry at high schools. Then, the author has proposed the application of metacognitive skills practice in Maths teaching at high schools in the future.
