The aim of this study is to assess the current status of teaching Natural Science subjects according to the STEM-oriented education in high schools in Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh City. By surveying 161 teachers and administrators from six high schools, the study collected data through a questionnaire consisting of 42 questions related to factors such as roles, objectives, content, methods, organizational forms, assessment, and implementation conditions for teaching natural science subjects according to the STEM - oriented education. The results show that teachers have a good understanding of these key factors. However, the study also highlights existing issues in defining the content, methods, organizational forms, assessment, and implementation conditions for STEM-oriented teaching in high schools in Binh Thanh District.
