THE CURRENT SITUATION OF IMPLEMENTING THE 2018 GENERAL EDUCATION PROGRAM ON NATURAL SCIENCE SUBJECT IN SIXTH GRADE IN THE SCHOOL YEAR OF 2021 - 2022

The new General Education Program has been signed and promulgated by the Ministry of Education and Training under the Circular No. 32/2018/TT BTC dated December 26, 2018. Accordingly, the 2018 General Education Program has begun to be implemented in grade 6 in the school year of 2021-2022. In 2022, the Vietnam National Institute of Educational Sciences conducted a study on the implementation of the 2018 General Education Program and grade 6 Textbooks for all subjects on a national scale. The article presents a part of the results obtained from this study in which in-depth description of the current situation of implementing the grade 6 Natural Science subject. Based on the initial findings, the article analyzes and provides some useful recommendations for more effective program implementation in the following years.
