FACTORS AND ACTIVITIES IN CAREER EXPLORATION OF HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS: A NETWORK ANALYSIS STUDY

Summary: 
Career exploration action research has been found to play an important role in individuals making career decisions for themselves. However, research using the network analysis method is still largely undone. Using the network analysis method, the analysis results show that the self-discovery factor plays the most important role in the group of factors belonging to students' career exploration activities. Students undertake career exploration activities that vary by region. Students in rural and urban areas have different levels of interest in activities to explore the environment and gather career - related information. Students in the Northern, Central, and Southern regions also pay distinct attention to specific activities such as collecting career information, participating in career guidance programs, career planning, and experiential activities. This result is a useful source of reference information for teachers, school counselors, and educational managers in implementing vocational education activities in high schools.
