Summary: 
The rapid development of information technology and communications requires higher education institutions to diversify teaching styles, including face-to-face, online, and blended teaching. Universities in Vietnam have actively promoted the flipped classroom, a specific form of blended teaching. Learning through the flipped classroom model not only personalizes students’ study plans before class but also enhances cognitive engagement, interest in learning, and deep learning. This study aims to analyze (i) the process of organizing the flipped classroom model in teaching a course named “Probability and Applied Statistics”; (ii) the outcomes related to students’ skills, learning attitudes, challenges, and benefits of learning this course according to the flipped classroom model at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education.
