SCHOOL DISCIPLINE AND A REVIEW OF THE INTERNATIONAL RESEARCHES ON SCHOOL DISCIPLINE

Summary: 
There are many different schools in the world researching on school discipline. Most studies show that through disciplinary education, each individual is trained in spirit and personality to create self-control or obedience which forms important personal factors to help each of them get success in life. Each country using different educational models will have disciplinary rules at different schools. In the world, there are recently 04 educational models, including: personal practice, school discipline, education technology and social reconstruction. Corresponding to each model, there is a form of school discipline associated with specific criteria such as disciplinary purposes, basic discipline, types of discipline, the source of discipline, the nature of power, the role of students, the role of managers, the system of reward, discipline and attitudes of students. Depending on the model of education in each country, the application of school discipline will be implemented flexibly based on the characteristics of the local schools.
