Summary: 
Approaching Joyce Epstein’s theory of 6 types of family and community involvement in school education, the article has provided useful instructions for parents about being involved in schools’ activities and the benefits from their involvement. At the same time, schools also need to be aware that families cannot proactively know how to involve in school education. To be successful in mobilizing family involvement in school education, requires schools to have clear strategies, as well as plans and also need specific actions which the article pointed out
