THE ROLE OF SOCIOLOGY SUBJECT FOR SOCIAL WORK STUDENTS

Although it was born quite late, Sociology has proven its important role in social awareness and problem solving in practice. Sociology has actively contributed to national construction in the new period. Therefore, one of the most concerning issues that has attracted much attention today is to maximize the effectiveness of Sociology subject for students in general and students of social work in particular. With that in mind, the article focuses on clarifying the shortcomings and inadequate in teaching and learning this subject for students of Social work, thereby offering some solutions to improve the quality of teaching and studying Sociology for students of Social Sciences and Humanities in general and students majored in Social work in particular to meet the output standards.
