RENOVATING THE MANAGEMENT OF PRIMARY TEACHER TRAINING AT PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITIES TOWARDS COMPETENCE-BASED APPROACH

Summary: 
At present, the innovation of management of primary teacher education in pedagogical universities is an inevitable activity orginating from the demands of general education renovation and the practice of this field of training. The innovation of management of primary teacher education towards competence-based approach must be conducted in all aspects: Renovation management thinking; Renovation of enrollment; Renovation of objectives and contents of training programs; Renovation of testing and assessement of primary teacher education process towards competencebased approach. Therefore, the contents, programs and methods of training at pedagogical universities/faculties must be in the direction of developing the capacity of the teachers reflected in the Primary School Teachers Standards and linked to the practice of general education.
