PREREQUISITE SKILLS FOR PRIMARY SCHOOL PREPARATION OF CHILDREN WITH MULPILE DISABILITIES: A CASE STUDY

Summary: 
In the context that the proportion of children with disabilities enrolling in primary school at the right age is much lower than that of normal children, it is important to assess the prerequisite skills of children with multiple disabilities before entering grade 1. This article focuses on the situation of the prerequisite skills for their primary school preparation in a case study through a skills checklist with 7 criteria and 35 skills. Children will experience a different development in different skills corresponding to the response levels of primary school attendance, inlcuding: Fully responsive, Partly responsive, and Unresponsive level.
