Summary:
International integration is an essential factor to keep up with global trends, and the internationalization of education is a crucial goal for many countries in the 21st century. In recent years, the internationalization of K-12 education has become a rising trend, aiming to prepare the necessary knowledge and skills for nation's future generation and potential human resources. The findings of this paper demonstrate that in the Asian region, many countries have started to develop a deep understanding regarding the significance of this phenomenon, as evidenced by the implementation of educational projects on a national scale for global integration, including the integration of international content into national education programs. The internationalization of K-12 education has also transformed the process of assessing education quality, with the widespread adoption of standardized tests and internationally benchmarked assessments. Specifically, Vietnam has made significant progress in promoting international exchanges, attracting foreign investment, and integrating international curriculum content. However, Vietnam still faces numerous challenges. Therefore, it is crucial to implement effective solutions to meet the development needs and become a pioneering nation in the process of international integration in the Asian region as a whole.
