EXPERIENCED ACTIVITIES IN THE NEW GENERAL EDUCATION CURRICULUM UNDER THE DIRECTION OF HO CHI MINH’S PHILOSOPHY OF EDUCATION

President Ho Chi Minh is a shining example of self-study. Throughout his travels abroad (since 1911), across many different countries and continents, with his relentless efforts and practical experience, especially after reading the First Draft of V. I. Lenin’s thesis about ethnic and colonial issues (in the mid-1920’s), he has found a way of liberation for the Vietnamese people. Along with playing a very important role in ending the crisis of the way for the Vietnamese revolution in the early twentieth century, Ho Chi Minh’s philosophy of education which has summarized since more than half a century ago still retains its value in the field of education. In that sense, his educational philosophy has been learned by the Communist Party and State of Vietnam in developing a new general education curriculum today. The philosophy is that study goes as a pair with practice, and theory is always associated with reality.
