Summary: 
Bibliometrics is one of the most effective methods for objectively and scientifically synthesizing and evaluating research information, thereby enhancing the quality of literature reviews. This article aims to propose a process for applying bibliometric software to the review of scientific research in the field of the theory and methodology of teaching Literature and Vietnamese language. This remains a relatively unexplored issue in literature review studies within this field, particularly concerning the review of international documents. By employing a combination of theoretical analysis, synthesis, and practical applications through a specific example, the authors provide an overview of the functions of VOSviewer, PRISMA, and Biblioshiny software in literature review research. Special emphasis is placed on the process of utilizing these software tools for reviewing international documents related to research problems in the field of the theory and methodology of teaching Literature and Vietnamese language.
