Summary:
Currently, utilizing technology in teaching is one of the teachers’ essential skills. Among the numerous free artistic entertainment applications available to users, two applications, Wesing and Movie Maker, are particularly popular and useful for certain subjects, including teaching music appreciation in the Arts subject at the lower secondary level (Middle School). Through qualitative research methods, analysis, comparison, and experimentation, the study examines the functions of the Wesing and Movie Maker software applications, integrating them into the design of music videos to support the teaching of Music Appreciation content in this subject. The initial research demonstrates that using these applications can save time, reduce costs, foster interest in learning, stimulate creativity, enhance students' teamwork abilities, and significantly improve the quality of teaching and learning in Music Appreciation.
